This is the most boring book I've ever read...I'm on chapter 6. Does it get any better? Or should I just give up?

I'm so sorry to hear that, Stephen King is usually really good! Hey Nat, if this is the only Stephen King you've ever read, if you do give up on the book, don't give up on the author. He's worth another try! He's written at least 20 that were fabulous! Sorry if you got a dud....

I've read every Stephen King book ever written...thiat is why I'm so upset with this one so far. It's just BORING. I really wanna give it a chance though.

I haven't read it yet but intend to boring or not. I think the worst ever though was Dance Macabre!

Nat., I am just such a SK fanatic that I like everything he writes. Lisey's story is not the BEST but it does perk up further on. Just keep reading.

I loved Lisey's Story but I think it might be an age thing. The main character is a middle-aged woman so you might relate as well to it since you're too young? It's different than King's other books but I liked it.

KEEP READING!!!! It is a good story, but it is not a 'typical' SK story. I enjoyed it, but I felt the same at first too.
