LOS ANGELES - Isaiah Washington has lost his job on the hit ABC medical drama "Grey's Anatomy," five months after creating a furor with his use of an anti-gay slur.

Washington's contract option was not renewed for next season, series producer ABC Television Studios said Thursday.

"I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore," Washington said in a statement released through his publicist, Howard Bragman, without elaboration

I thought I read something that said that he was coming back. That the season's finale was just what it was to keep us all guessing...but he was supposed to come back. I like this character and the show won't be the same without him.

Wow, I'm not really worried about it. Grey's will survive.
However, I'm not sure it will if Ellen Pompeo isn't the main character. That new chickie said her name was ____ Grey. Anyone have any scoops on that??

Hmmm.....maybe Cristina will get another love interest. I think the new girl is Meredith's half sister from her dad and his wife who died this season.

Maybe...I live for thursdays!!(well, while it's Greys season) Nothing good on anymore...that's ok, I guess we've got baseball & softball games just about every night-
