He plays Teague Sparrow, Jack's Sparrow's father. I refuse to tell ya'll much about the movie. I'd die before being an end teller! (In our home that's about the worst crime you can commit) But he has one scene where he plays guitar and is not shown very much at all in the film. There is reason for that too. His lifestyle interferred! He stayed drunk the entire time the shooting was being done. My eldest daugher read something to us recently that said that while on set, he climbed a palm tree after a coconut and fell on his head. Shortly after they left the island he was hospitalized and had to have a hole drilled to release pressure off the brain. Now as you know, about half of what you read off the internet is garbage, so I can't verify this info, but it sure sounds plausible! Amazes me that he's even alive. Ya'll will be shocked if you see a close up pic of him these days. I mean he never really was a looker but man alive! He looks like he died 50 years ago and forgot to lay down!
