Saw the new Indiana Jones movie and, though the critics didn't rave about it, I LOVED it.  Total fun and escapism, and this ol' gal thinks Indiana Jones still has it, even if he's not as young as he used to be.  Lots of fun!  And the ol' heart went pitter-patter for the old Indy!

I haven't seen it yet...but I can't wait! I grew up watching those movies (showing my age a bit, huh?) and this new movie makes me want to dig out my Indy dvds...

WANT.

But I've gotten to where I wait for most movies to come out so I can watch them at home.  It used to be that going to the movies was a big deal... an outing.  Now, in the age of Dolby Home Theater Rooms and HDTV's, going to a theater is just an inconvience I put up with to see a movie I don't want to wait for DVD/Blu-ray to see.  Has it really lost the charm or is it just me?

it's not just you...the last time I went to see a movie, there were a bunch of young teenagers with lazer pointers giggling and making tons of noise right in front of me. what a waste of money. but there just aren't that many movies out there that I really want to see...I can wait the 6 months or so for them to go to dvd. BUT I'd love to see the new Indy on the big screen...just without all the kids who've seen it a thousand times.

I'm looking foward to it! That is one of the few movies that probably warrants the big screen. At least the first three sure did.
