Subject: Reference to rat terriers in a book I just read!

I was reading one of those 3-in-1 short story paperbacks, vampire romances , and one of the stories had a reference to a rat terrier in it.  I quote, "she was following him like a rat terrier nipping at his heels."    We KNOW about rat terriers almost walking on our heels and following us around, don't we?
