We went and saw the new spiderman movie last night. I thought it was terrible! The acting was soooo bad. And it went on and on and on! I was soo disapointed! I cant believe it made as much money as it has.

It has made so much money because they are betting on a sure thing. There is such a massive following for marvel comics that pretty much anything will do ok at the very least.

What amazes me is that given the blatant disregard for the comic book's story line, there is still a #2 & #3? I would think that most fans would have a major problem with that.

My family and I went to the drive-in to watch the movie friday night.... my 8 year old son loved it... When I went to watch the movie... I didn't think it would be one of the "best" movies but it's okay.... and I know I will probably watch it again, once it comes out on dvd.... my son will want to watch it again. but he's boy and spiderman happens to be one of his favorite superheros! :-)

I LOVED Spiderman 1 & 2, but have been dragging my heels about #3 (my 3 boys are all dying to see it). I'm not terribly impressed by the ad's,looks like just tons of more special effects (and I've seen a lot of those already) and really, maybe enough IS enough! Shrek 3 interests me even less. Ditto Pirates of the Caribbean 3 (I still haven't seen 2 and prob'ly never will). I'm only anxious for the next Harry Potter film and book.

My step-son (27 now) and my oldest son (20) were huge Transformers fans!

yeah my husband, some friends, and  I all went to see spiderman3 and both my husband and myself were very, very disappointed! Heck, I fell asleep almost half way through the movie. My husband is a huge comic book and spidey fan and he was so disappointed that he doesn't ever want to see it again. We are both waiting for the transformers movie though! Fingers crossed!!!
