OMG! It was about people and their obsessions. He had a woman on there that called her chow, her son. She dressed him all the time, no big deal, she didn't socialize, that would take time away from her "son".

She took him with her to the fast food drive thru because he looked forward to it, no big deal, except she chewed his food for him because he may choke on his food.

She doesn't watch the news or any show that may have violence or disturbing actions that may cause trauma to her "son". She doesn't want him to have bad dreams or be uncomfortable with what he may see.

She brushed his teeth 4 x a day. She took her "son" to the dentist and it was recommended that the dog have braces. She did decline that because it may cause discomfort and she didn't want him to experience any pain that may be associated with it, otherwise she would have done it.

Dr. Phil's favorite thing to say is "How's that workin for ya?" He tried to tell her that the dog was not her son but a dog. Get this he said, "If the dog lays on his back and pee's and it hits his face, he doesn't know where it came from" She said, well that can also be true of a baby.  He finally gave in and said, "I give up, it MUST be workin for YOU".

So when is too far TOO far???

This lady seems to have some serious issues - way beyond spoiling her dog.

hmmm....that maybe "pushing the envelope" a bit. But, if she's happy and her pooch is happy-I guess it works for her.

Oh wow, that is something. Why would a dentist even offer to see a dog, or even yet, suggest doggie braces? That doesn't even sound like a real thing. Maybe he was just playing into it hoping to make a few extra bucks. She could probably benefit from the looney bin.

You're right, sorry, it was a chi. My mind doesn't always work with the facts...LOL! She never said whether it was a doggie dentist, but she did say it was recommended that the dog have braces. They showed a film clip of her going to the fast food joint, sitting in the car, she chewed the french fry before she gave it to Pie Boy. Good memories to remember his name. I swear my memory...Yikkes!
