OMG! It was about people and their obsessions. He had a woman on there that called her chow, her son. She dressed him all the time, no big deal, she didn't socialize, that would take time away from her "son".
She took him with her to the fast food drive thru because he looked forward to it, no big deal, except she chewed his food for him because he may choke on his food.
She doesn't watch the news or any show that may have violence or disturbing actions that may cause trauma to her "son". She doesn't want him to have bad dreams or be uncomfortable with what he may see.
She brushed his teeth 4 x a day. She took her "son" to the dentist and it was recommended that the dog have braces. She did decline that because it may cause discomfort and she didn't want him to experience any pain that may be associated with it, otherwise she would have done it.
Dr. Phil's favorite thing to say is "How's that workin for ya?" He tried to tell her that the dog was not her son but a dog. Get this he said, "If the dog lays on his back and pee's and it hits his face, he doesn't know where it came from" She said, well that can also be true of a baby. He finally gave in and said, "I give up, it MUST be workin for YOU".
So when is too far TOO far??? |
