We've been watching these lately and I've been struck by the Cardigan Welsh Corgi that plays Nunzio, one of their dogs.  By looking at him, I can see how Corgis contributed to the Type B ratties.  This dog's coloring and his face/head reminds me a lot of Bob and other tri-colored ratties.
