hmmm, that shorts and parka one sounds a lot like Kentucky. So does the conversation with the wrong number. Uh oh, I've been known to do that!

hehe, I know, I've had a conversation at work with someone who had the wrong number and they thought I was nuts! I think this applies to a lot more places than just Ohio...

that's funny too about the heat to a/c, I've done that so many times!!

It could also describe New England. Speaking of which:

An elderly Boston upper class woman was hosting a Beacon Hill tea for out of town sorority sisters.
She walks up to one and asks, "And where might you be from my dear?"
The other woman replies," I'm from Iowa."
The Boston lady gives a pitying smile, touches the other woman's sleeve, and with a shake of her head says,"My dear dear girl. Here in Boston we pronounce it 'Ohio'."

His name is Hendryx! He's a rat terrier! OK!

The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too

As a former Ohioan this brought back memories. I am now a true Minnesotian and "a little chilly" here would be about 0 degrees F. However Minnesota has two seasons Winter and Road Repair (and lately they have been overlapping)
