Oh goody!  Way to go, Max!

Well I finally got it out of her. Poor Baby!!  Seems earily on in the campaign Miss Katie Scarlett mention a possible spot in her cabinet.  And miss Noodles being young and all has been dreaming of maybe  a post of secretary of the Exterior or Environmental Ambassador.  Both positions, she thought, would include her going to the beach to check the exterior or making sure the trash was pick up and maybe even see the baby turtles were released in a safe manner.  Her favorite place to be as well as her mama's & papa's is the beach.  She was dreaming of a position that would please her entire family.

When she heard Miss Katie had dropped out of the race her dreams were shattered, and she blamed Miss Katie for it.  A error of her youth.  It was so hard for me to try and explain that which I have trouble understanding myself...Miss Katie's mom is the contest girl right now and feels it would be unfair for Miss Katie to continue to run under these circumstances.  When asked why all I could say is "some people have a trust issue with other people" and this way avoids any type of strife.

She is now so very sorry for any trouble she has caused anyone.  She  feels so bad for what she put everyone through.  She is worried that she has ruined any opportunity she may have had to be friends with Nora, and that her idol Miss Katie Scarlett may never speak to her. 

She continues to beg me to cast our vote for Mr. Marley, not only because of the sabotage but because she believes Mr. Marley, with Miss Katie by his side, will make ever attempt to full fill all Rattie dreams.

Once again we, both Noodles n Me, apologize for any trouble the anger has caused anyone.

Nora thanks you and lets out a big rattie sigh of relief---I don't want to be a pest, but nora perfers to go au natural when it comes to fashion (shh nora, no mommy is not to lazy to dress you)--er yes as I was saying, I human interest article on ear wars would sell many copies, and she can shows it even happens to lovely girls who thought they were over it!!!

I know we may sound obsessed on the ear way thing--we will be broading our effort to agility soon, you might want to consdider a sports page. Opps, sorry, don't mean to be so aggresive about this, but us northerners sometimes want to take over)))

Oh, I am heartbroken that I could have caused you such sadness and disappointment.  I never wanted to hurt anyone, and Mother told me all along I must not run for the Presidency.  It was vain and stupid of me to do so.  I am so sorry I have disappointed you, I can only ask your forgiveness.   You are indeed my friend, and I am quite sure Miss Nora understands your despair earlier today.  I feel absolutely horrible about this.  I so appreciate that you continue to hold me in such high esteem, even after my disappointing you.   I do not know what will happen on Friday – fiddle-dee-dee, I believe I am more nervous now than when I was running for office myself!  I just hope you and Miss Nora both will always be my friends. I have become so fond of so many here in Rattieland.  My goodness, I don’t think I shall be able to eat between now and Friday, I am so nervous!

I'm so glad your not mad at me!!!  Water is kinda cool.  When ya go to a lake or river or BEACH it is nuthin like them stupid baths.  I been going fishing since I was 6 weeks old.  And if my mommie and daddy are in the water you better bet I'm going in with them!!  Even if I have to jump out of the boat. Mom says I'm a good swimmer but I don't like my life jacket too much so when I swim to them they have to pick me up and hold me.

My favorite Beach is Padre Island here in Texas, but I been to Corpus Christi Beach and it's fun too.  At the beach there is so much to do, find sea shells and drift wood (I always find the best pieces), chase birds and chase the waves back out into the bay, but ya gotta be careful and not turn your back because those things are tricky and the can grab you.

Dear Miss Katie,

I have asked Noodles to sit down and respond to your note personally, but she is so happy running the rattie 500 and bothering her brothers and sisters with her joy that I thought I'd let you know she is overwhelmed by your forgiveness. Thank-you!

She did say she would be willing to eat for you until the election was over, I'm sure she will understand what you meant when she calms down!

We read the new issue of your magazine today and were quite impressed with the job you do.  We were a little disappointed with the other candidates not taking advantage of the opportunity you gave them, though.  Noodles was a little concerned that if you do become First Lady that you might not be able to continue with your magazine, I assured her you would be able to handle it all. After all look what your Momma does.  She wants to let you know if she can be of assistance in any of your endeavors all you have to do is ask!!

We, as well as the rest of Rattieland, will be waiting for the election results on Friday, with anticipation and slight in nausea.

I would like to introduce myself and explain why I am hoping that you will vote for Eddie Ratbone for President of Rattieland.

My name is Daisey Mae and I am Eddie Ratbone's sister. I have lived with Eddie for four years and can vouch for his honesty, fearlessness, and compassion. Eddie had a rough beginning having been dumped at one of those canine concentration camps known as a shelter; however, he pulled himself up by the harness strings and has made a good life. I sleep well at night knowing that Eddie is in charge of security in our home. And to prove what a well rounded rattie he is, Eddie is also in charge of entertainment and makes us smile everyday. Eddie spends his spare time helping our human with Pet Publicist duties for Ratbone Rescues. Just one way that Eddie pays back both the rattie and human communites.

As you can see Eddie is a qualified leader - he's experienced in defense, cares about social issues, and has demonstrated talent in foreign relations having lived with cats, humans, and other breeds of canine.

Eddie, I do wish you could have gotten that release in for my presidential magazine edition.  Though I am out of the race I would bet my bottom dollar that, should you not be elected to the office of president, there would be a place for you in any administration.  You would certainly be a good choice for Rescue Ambassador!  Should Marley be elected, I would certainly put the “bug” in his ear (that bug not being confused with a flea or a tick!)

Oh, the only problem I have with your campaign is your stance on Chihuahuas.  Though not normally a fan of Chihuahuas, I do have a particular fondness for Bruiser Woods (the famous Chi from Legally Blonde.  There is just something about that little guy that I admire!)

I am elated that you have returned to RT.com. Your vacation was agony for me as I missed your postings and, truth be told, your photographs. I just love fancy attire and realize that a quality wardrobe reflects a quality woman.

The recent photo of you diving into the lake is remarkable. You are a divine creature in so many ways. I admire a woman who maintains her physical being through proper nutrition and exercise. My dear Katie Scarlet, I do believe you could make the Rattie Olympic Team if you so desired. You certainly have the determination for it as exhibited by your presidental campaign. I am so hoping that we are able to form a Rattie Olympic Team here on RT.com. Wouldn' that be wonderful?

Regarding chihuahuas - I have some news that you may find upsetting. Please have a seat and grab a hankie before reading any further. Bruiser Wood is not real. He's a fictional character. I believe the actual chihuahua who played Bruiser must have been implanted with a microchip to play the part as everyone knows chihuahuas are not so bright, certainly not at the level of a rattie. I live with a chihuahua and it is h-e-double-toothpicks on earth.

Oh no, my dear!  Bruiser Woods was a character in a movie, but he is a real Chihuahua.  He actually was very hard to get for the sequel to Legally Blonde – I do believe his contract was harder to negotiate than Reese Witherspoon’s!   Now, I must confess that Chihuahuas in general are not real dogs – not like Rat Terriers, who may be little dogs but have big dog attitudes.  But one does have to admire that little guy!

And thank you for the kind words and the welcome back.  Vacation is nice, but it is always good to return home!  Hmmm, a Rattie Olympics sounds like great fun.  Of course, Mama is retiring as Contest Girl (about time – she is not a girl), but perhaps that could be organized!  Good idea!

Lola has been a tireless campaigner whom I admire.  She is very unassuming and just gets the job done.  I was happy to see my dearest Marley has also recognized her abilities.  My, we have so many wonderful candidates, if only our humans were as fortunate in their presidential race.  Fiddle-dee-dee to humans!  They could learn so much from us Ratties!  Of course, no one compares to my lovely Marley!

How wonderful that you want to take an active roll in Rattieland.  It shows a great deal of spunk to jump into the race at such a late date and I admire your courage in doing so.

Though perhaps your policies are a bit idealistic, I would say that they reflect the optimism of your youth and I hope you will always keep that optimism, even if you realize utopia cannot be reached in this lifetime.

How are you today?  You asked be if I like boys..well duh..my some of my bestest friends in the whole world are boys. Specaily my daddy! and um my my, well don't get mad, my kitties.  They aren't like other cats.  They don't scratch me or nuthin, they just chase me, and lick me, and I bite them and run away.

Who are you asking your mommie to vote for the President?  What do you think of this Annabelle girl?  I think Eddie is kinda cute, what about you? Oh and about Miss Katie Scarlett and utopia, my mom explained that the whole world around us is not as nice as where we live or like rattie land.  Did you know that there are little dogs out there that don't have no one to love one them?  They have no mommie to hold them?  I feel bad for them.  I had to give my mom extra kisses when she told me that. No, your Mama is right – there is no such thing as utopia – at least not here on this earth.  I believe once we cross the Rainbow Bridge there is utopia, but not here on earth.  

I agree about cats too.  My Mama has adopted this big cat she calls Boss Cat (or rather, he adopted her – hmmmppphhh) and I hate him.  I really try not to hate, but I hate him.  He lives outside, but comes up on our back deck and I bark at him through the window.  I chase him every chance I get!  But, he is really big and he sort of scares me sometimes too, he has these big scratchy claws!  I hate it when Mama loves on him.  I don’t mind Mama loving on Dixie, but to love on a cat!  Whoever heard of such a thing!

I was quite disturbed to read about the horror you received at the paws of a Chihuahua. If blessed with the Presidency of Rattieland, I will ensure that this sort of thing never happens again. Please accept my deepest sympathy for what you have endured.
