My Dear Fellow Ratties,
I thank you all for your support, words of encouragement, and votes. I take very seriously the trust you have placed in me by electing me as your President. I would like to thank my worthy opponents for running outstanding campaigns. These campaigns brought many important issues to light. I pledge to continue my work to improve conditions for ratties everywhere. I further pledge to continue the moratorium on baths and toenail clipping until an investigation into the safety and efficacy of these societal constraints can be investigated.
I officially ask the lovely southern bell Miss Katie Scarlett O'Rattie to serve as my First Lady. Her impecable charm, fashion sense, good taste will serve the rattie White House well. Miss Katie and I will need to confer as to which ratties will be asked to become staff and cabinet members. I think it only fair to offer the rattie with the next highest number of votes the position of Vice-President.

Ask your mommie if you can answer me. I can't talk to you unless your mommie says it is ok. My mom says if we sneak to the puter to talk to each other that I can't play on the puther no more.
Isn't it all exciting!! Mr. Marley is going to be our president, and he has asked Miss Kaitie Scarlett to be his first lady!!!! I sure hope Mr. Eddie ain't mad. Maybe now that the election is over Lola can come talk to us. She seems like a nice rattie? What do you think?
Well gotta go, my daddy is home for awhile  and he wants me to take a nap with him!!
