Wow!  That's a fun read!  And it's nice to see everyone on here- and they're RT's.  I was checking this out and my BF looked over and says "Is that Rowdy?"  Of course, it was one of the other dogs- sorry I don't remember who!  But I showed him all the pics and we thought all the pups are just adorable!!!

Anyway, about me:

I'm new here and excited to get to know everyone on here.  And, maybe if you're local, arrange a playdate. 

My name is Chrys and I'm 28, living in West Linn, Oregon.  I work as a vault teller at a credit union and really enjoy my job.  My household consists of my boyfriend James and our three dogs.  Jaems works at MotoSport in catalog sales, which works well for us, since one of our favorite hobbies is riding our dirtbikes. 

Our doggie children are Sam (a 11 yr old black lab/dalmation), Schatzi (4yr old German Shephard/terrier), and the "little man" Rowdy.  We got Rowdy about 9 months ago from a shelter to keep Schatzi company.  I used to swear up and down that I would NEVER own a "small dog", but that changed when we decided we needed another young dog to play with Schatz.  And since we had one tiny house and two big dogs, we decided to get a smaller dog.  So, along came Rowdy from a local shelter.  And I love every little bit of our little dog!  He is actually pretty big for a rat terrier (he is always bigger than the other ratties we run into at the dog park).  Anyway, that's a little about me and my family!

OK- I feel like an idiot.  How do I post photos here?????  I've got the photobucket account, but can't sem to get the photo to show up.  Just a link...  HELP!!!

Welcome to you and Rowdy (what a great name for a rattie LOL!) If you'd like to post pics (and we really hope you do) - go to the Photos: Ratties forum and start a new thread. After typing in a subject line and a message, there are 3 boxes below the message window where you can browse and upload up to 3 photos per message. Just make sure they are resized to at most 125 kb. Looking forward to seeing Rowdy and your other doggies, too

I graduated from KSU May 2006 and I work as a Computer Technician for the School District here in town and at the Public Library as a Computer Lab Aide.  My husband, Michael, is the Grounds Keeper for the KSU baseball team. We have been married a year and added Toby to our family. He is 5 1/2 months old and the joy of our lives.

I know I'm a little late posting here, but here goes anyways!  I'm Kacie, Mommy of Angel,Missy and Jax(RIP), Wife to Scott, and Step-mom to Megan.  I will be 21 on Christmas Eve.  We just added Angel to our family a month ago.  She is a 12 week old terror! Scott was my high school sweetheart and after being together 4 years(in December to be exact), we just tied the knot in June.  His little girl just turned 4 in July.  So I have been in her life since she was 5 months old.  We live in Buchanan Dam, TX which is north of Austin by about 75 miles.  Lake Buchanan is formed by a dam on the Colorado River.  It's the largest lake in the highland lakes system, which includes Lake Travis. I am an Administrative Assistant to the Marble Falls Fire Dept.  I love my job, and everyone I work with!

COOL!--I am a member of our local Fire Department, and am a Medical First Responder/ Firefighter I~II, but our department is totally volunteer.  I dont have much of a chance to go on too many runs because of my full-time job.

I guess it's never too late to introduce us. I'm Cathy, My husband of many many years is Kelly. We have two grown twin daughters. Both with their own families. Love our grandkids and our four legged kids. We live in Central California up by Yosemite Nat. Park. Teddy is our first Ratty.
