Hand saw, long string for measuring, a hammer, a pile of nails and a drill to pre-drill the nail holes so the wood didn't split was all we used. I swear we look like Laurel and Hardy or something working on stuff like this but we had a really good time. I was scared to sit in it but Jelly was brave.  Here's a picture of her in it before we stained it. Notice that her feet won't reach the floor! LOL (Due to the fact that we don't measure with a tape... we measured the pieces at hip-high and figured that would be good... turns out we are too short for our own construction... oops, live and learn. ) |
