I took a bunch of pics of my dads kids this weekend. I framed some photos for him. Here are some of them. These are pets he loves to death.

Your dad is kind of a reptile guy, huh? Those are great photos, Jules. I really like the first one where you can see the little turtle's face. How did the ratties like visiting Grandpa Vet?

The turtle in the third pic has a very pretty shell, what kind is it? Personally, any animal that I can't cuddle with isn't something I'd want...love the kitty, somehow it seems out of place with the rest of it's animal family.

Those are wonderful pics Jules! I really like the first turtle, he wants to know what you're doing! And I love his little nostrils, lol.

The turtle in the 3rd pic is a Radiated Tortuous. My dad has been dieing to get one for about 20 yrs and just finally got her last year.

My dad loves his cats too, he has about 22 turtles and like 6 cats. He enjoyed the ratties, he would love to have a dog but my mom says NO! lol

Nice! I like turtles and tortises too. I had a South American red-foot once. Had to give him up. He was awesome tho. Just loved to wander around the yard. I don't think I have seen a radiated tortise before, cool!

The redfoots are really neat! I have 1 tortious and she's a redfoot and I think thats all I need until I inherit all of my dads pets lol My dad has 2 redfoots they are very alert and not timid.  The radiated is pretty rare, thats why it took him so long to get Trish. Different states have different restrictions about owning different kinds of tortiouses.

They get really pretty as adults, here is an adult.

Jules, I love looking at your dod's turtles and tortoises.  I still want a spur thigh turtle.  I do love all of them.  I still have the turtle your Dad gave me, Danny, aka Sammy is doing really great.  He is so cool.  I love my red ear slider too.   I just love turtles, I would also like to have a  Jackson's chamelion, one of those green ones with the split looking toes and curly tail and cone eyes, Jesse my nephew got one once at the reptile show in Indy.  I love them.  Paul wouldn't let me have a snake at all, but that doesn't really bother me much.  We have a blue tailed skink that lives on our front porch under the siding of the house and under the ramp at the front steps.  I am also a lover of rabbits.  I love them and Guinea pigs too.  I also love all birds.  I would love to buy another male Canary, but they are so expensive around here, easily costing over a hundred dollars.  Tell your Dad I said Hello.  How did he do when his best friend passed away?  Your dad is a pretty great guy, I wish he lived close enough to be my Vet.  Barbara & Lucy

Scott and I got a chamelion from a swap meet last yr and since it was 10 bucks and tiny and cute and we couldnt resist. The poor thing died, they are so fragile, we had him about 5 months before he passed away. Now I like seeing them at swaps and not taking them home lol  I am happy to hear Sammy is doing so good! Scott found a female box turtle recently running across the road, we gave to my dad. Then some other woman just gave him a baby box turtles lol He takes great care of all his turtles and torts, he loves them to pieces. I am a sucker for rabbits too, its been years since I havent had one lol I got my first when i was 16 and I could go against my mom and drive myself to a petshop and get a rabbit. So ya for the past 7 yrs I have had a rabbit lol I love birds yet another pet I had to get when I moved out. But now my dad has 2 cockatiels and he loves them to pieces, he has them whistling with him while he works at night lol  My dad did ok with the funeral, he said he called his friends house recently to hear his voice on the recording. I sent his wife a card in the mail, I hope she's doing better. Her mother has alzehimers and she has to watch her constantly. They had no kids, it would be nice if they had someone to help right now. I will let my dad know you said Hello!
