So, you know how people rent those storks to put in their yards to announce the birth of their new babies?  Well, I was debating whether I wanted one or not and had kind of just let it go.  The other day I found some pictures of cartoon storks on the computer and asked my husband where they came from and he said, "Why don't you follow me outside?"  So, I did.  I walked outside to find my husband had drawn a stork on some wood and was getting ready to cut it out.  Instead of renting one and only getting to keep the baby bundle he made our VERY own!!!  He drew it out all by hand and painted it today.  Here are some pictures - he just finished painting it about half an hour ago.  Once it's dry I'll get some pictures of it standing up - he is SUCH a SWEETHEART - and talented I might add.  I didn't know he could do something like this until now...I am very proud of him.  Here are pictures at different stages of drawing and painting today... We are going to add his weight information after he's born of course...

Thanks!  I'm due September 6th - but my Doctor doesn't think I will last that long - her guess is I'll be one week or so early - that would sure make me happy!  But, I'm not getting my hopes up, I know babies have a mind of their own when it's time for that Grand Entrance!

Ahhh Morgan - you caught me!!!  I just put that on there until he paints his name on the bundle.  And I think it's way cooler than the ones you rent too!!!  :-)  No Jeff. I don't think he's really ever thought of doing it seriously.  He's always been able to draw and he enjoys it but he just doesn't do it very often.  :-)

AWWWWW!!!!    That has to be the sweetest gesture making that ADORABLE stork for Brock's arrival!!  This just tells me how excited, happy and dedicated your husband is to you and your new baby Brock!  Really, he is the sweetest and I love that you appreciate him!!

Thanks everyone.  Yes, I am a VERY lucky woman and mommy to be.  This little guy has no idea how loved he already is.  And to think, a little over five years ago my ex-fiance had broke my heart by cheating on me and caused me so much grief by bringing his then girlfriend up to my house right after the breakup - ALL things really DO happen for a REASON!  I know I already said it but I do feel like the luckiest woman on earth because of my husband - he reminds me how much he loves me every day.    Your comments bring tears to my eyes - thank you. 

Errica, it's a good feeling isn't?  It's so hard to find someone that makes you feel like that and always makes sure you know you are loved.  Lucky for us, not only do we have great guys, but somehow we got handsome ones too!  haha
