The place close by where we ride has two or three houses of row upon row of roosters.  Now why would they be needing so many roosters.  Hmmmmm?  Why does cock fighting just come to mind?  Makes me sick each time I go by.

Maybe Paul -- but most of us around here suspect it's cock fighting because it does go on in our lovely county and surroundings.

Our Friends house is behind a rooster farm. She hates roosters now because they wake them up at the crack of dawn. Im not sure why he has so many but I guess he raises them and sells them to farms.

those cages are for cockfighting.i see those types of cages every time i go to my grandparents graves.a guy that lives up the road from the cemetary raises them.

is cockfighting against the law there?if it is,you might want to throw an anonamous tip to the cops

have you called the police or the humane society and have them check it out? isnt it illegal to cock fight i see it on the aspca all the time that males have roosters and they are cock fighting.

I don't think they are cock fighting cages. Cocks that have been fought look a lot worse off than that...they usually don't keep them out in public like that. Also, when I lived in England these were everywhere because they only grow free range chickens there and that's what this looks like. I could be wrong...

Oh, I think he sells them - but I think they coud be sold for cock fighting. I could be wrong and I hope I am. Cock fighting is illegal here, but we have one sheriff and about 4 deputies to cover a big area (and heck, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't attend some of the fights!) I have just heard that cock fighting goes on around here - so I may have jumped to conclusions, but it does make one wonder.
