Good morning and happy Saturday! Not sure why, but this week has been super busy and just zoomed by... Tuesday, Angelica (my eldest daughter) and I went on a kitten hunt. I've been trying to talk her into a ratty but with her work schedule a kitten playmate for her teenage cat made better sense. We got her an adoreable little black kitten with a white blaze on its chest, all white feet and a tiny white mustache. Just adoreable! She let me name her and I named her Tessa. She seems to be getting along in her new home just fine but last night Angelica called and it turns out little Tessa is a boy! OOPS! LOL but lordy... she's renamed this tiny little delicate thing, Wolfgang!  If she's going to give that tiny baby a name like that I've decided to retaliate by calling it Wolfie... So yeah, odd but whatever, our entire lives are odd... I'll get pics as soon as the little rascal will hold still! Shiloh adores the kitten and is thoroughly enjoying having a house to visit across the street. She's dragged several toys over there.

Thursday was hubby David's Birthday. He tried his best to ignore it, I wouldn't let him...hehe

That's certainly not the prettiest cake I've ever made but it's definitely a favorite around here. Yellow cake mix with chocolate pudding as frosting. The Happy Birthday is written with whipped cream. Yummy!
