I remember that too!  And you could also get a free Dallas Cowboys glass with a fill up and all the pumps were full service where they checked your fluid levels and cleaned your windshields.

I remember pulling up to a pump and putting a dollars worth of gas in and actually getting 3 or 4 gallons. How about gas wars. Any one remember those?

I remember Clark gas stations back in the day would have all the ocatane, reg, midd and premium for .99.  I could fill my car with premium gas for 10.00.

In high school, I could cruise around town on a Friday night in my mom's car with about $2 of gas. And yes, I realize that was before some of you were even born.

I spent enough at the grocery store, Market Street, that I got 70 cents a gallon off of a fill up at their gas station. I paid $2.69 a gallon yesterday!

Market Street in Frisco, TX.  But I had to buy a vanload of groceries to get that coupon for 70 cents a gallon off.

You wanna talk old, Nora?  Heck, when I lived in Leavenworth Kansas when I was a junior in high school, diesel was $.60 a gallon.  And Daddy thought that was too much so we drove all the way into Kansas City once a month to get it for $.40 a gallon.  We had a diesel Mercedes then and it got 40 miles to the gallon, so a tank would usually last us all month long.  What I wouldn't do to have that car NOW!

Where did you find gas for $3.51 a gallon? Its around $3.99 here and some places you can get for $3.88
