While making coffee this morning,  this is what I saw out the windows...   What a treat!      Wendy said the fawns are less than 2 weeks old...

They couldn't have been 30 feet away from the house...

I love seeing these types of wildlife pics, Jan.....
We have deer all over the place here... and sites like this are very common in the early morning hours and at dusk. It kinda gives you a peaceful feeling, doesn't it?
I hope you are having a grand time.

Nice pictures Jan, did Sassy not chase them off? Ocassionally we will have a deer in our yard but Bailey can smell them ( or any animal) a mile away and start barking to get outside.

Well Sasssy whined, she saw them before I did.. Wendy's dogs are outside a lot in a fenced area and the deer are used to them...
I didn't let her outside. I wanted to get pics ..
They hung around for a while before walking away... I also shot a short video first before I took the still shots.. I will put it on my youtube page.

yes Nora it was a peaceful feeling..
I have to go home tomorrow and I dread it, but must deal with getting the house torn down...

Jan, God gives us wonderful views like this so that we can "think on these things", when we are having to deal with stuff that is not so pleasant. I'm praying strength for you through these next several days.

Nice pics Jan. Those deer look a lot bigger than the ones down her in Florida.

Great pics. At least the deer in those pics are alive. Someone posted a pic of hunter and some deer he shot in another thread awhile back.
