Dillon and I went to Metropolis last night to see the Roloff family.  We both like the show and watch it all the time.   It was so fun and Amy's speech was really good.   Dillon is the one of the smallest in his class and says some kids tease him about it.   Anyway I think he really listened to what she said and I think he will remember it and learn from her inspirational story.

Here's a few pictures,   I hope yall enjoy them.

1.   Jacob, Amy and me

 2.   Zach,  my Dillon and Jeremy

3.    Molly,   I wanted Dillon in this pic,  but he was acting shy.

That's very cool. I enjoy this program a lot. I didn't realize they did public appearances. Thanks for sharing.

They had rode a riverboat from Louisville to Metropolis. The show was at Harrah's Casino, we don't get to do stuff like this often so we went, it's a little over an hour drive from us. Dillon loved it so I'm glad we went.

I LOVE that show! I cannot believe how much those kids have changed since the show started. Nancy, my Dillon is also VERY small. Most girls his age are bigger than him. He doesn't seem to mind though.

I've seen this show. But I haven't watched it in awhile. Are the new episodes out yet?

Not exactly sure but I think it the new season will be in October.

Amy, the girls Dillon's age are all bigger too but they're always calling the house and usually "going out" with one of them. Once for a couple of weeks with a girl two grades above him.

That is SO my Dillon! Well sort of. Mine is only going into 2cnd grade. In kindergarten he was coming home with all kinds of phone numbers from girls. I said how did you get these? He said they just gave then to him, he didn't ask for them. Some of the girls were in 1st grade.

I love that show too! Both of my boys are small...Blake just turned 6 and can still wear a 4t very comfortably. Austin has FINALLY done a little growing this year...but is still small. He is almost 10 and only weighs about 70-75lbs.

Dillon turned 13 in May and he may weigh 80 now. He is getting taller, he doesn't think so but when he put on black dress pants to wear to the wedding last week, they were a couple inches too short. He last wore them to Mom's funeral. We had to make a quick trip to get more pants.

I've seen that show many times---my son, Shane loves it and watches it all the time.  I used to think Zach was a real brat, but the longer I watched it, the more I realized he's no different than any other kid his age. ...they're all brats at that age!    I really admire that family for doing the things that they do.  You know they have had a hard time getting where they are now.

One of my rattie friends moved to Oregon and got to go visit the Farm for the Pumpkin Patch days. I watch the show. My dh Steve swears he went to school at Circle Campus in Chicago with the dad. University of Illinois about 1980?

He may have went to school with Matt, the dad. I know that he was in one of the Star Wars movies, one of the little ewoks or something. I'm not sure what they were called. I would love to go the farm someday too.

We were proud to meet them and it was a fun night for us. They had been away from home for a month and Amy said that the kids were ready to go home. They all signed autographs for over an hour. We were nearly last and Molly said to Jeremy, " look Jeremy we're almost done." I know they had to be tired, Dillon got a Team Roloff shirt and they all signed it and both of us got a poster and they all signed it for us.
