We were gone all day on the 4th and home late that night. Next morning we found a surprise next to one of the yearling doe goats! It was all clean and cute, but she would not feed it so we are milking her and bottle feeding it. It, I should say her, it is a girl goat and white with black splotches and some tiny bits of brown. Momma is nubian and dad is alpine and boar goat cross. We named her Milly.  She was kind of cold so we brought her in the house till she warmed up and had a bottle or two. I am scared until she gets some size on her the dogs will want to eat her. She is only 2 lbs, very tiny. We did not know her mom was even bred!

ANYTHING WORTH DOING IS WORTH OVERDOING Mom of eight, only three left at home! Pack leader to ten ratties: Maggie, Mysty, Berry, Simon, Ceecee and five puppies, Star,Sari, Bluebelle, Double stuf, and Snortie. As well as Ginger the Border Collie and a herd of turkeys!

How often are you feeding her? Just curious. I have three pygmy goats. Stella had a baby and we named her Sassy. They look like twins. Then their's Bindi. I'm trying to talk hubby into letting me get another goat. I want a little one so Sassy has a playmate.

LOL! I love baby goats. We used to have some "grass eating, keep the brush down" goats on our property. What they ended up being was "get out of the fence, eat my camelia bushes, and stay in the road" goats. Milly sure is a cute little thing.
