This is Nic. He is the last kitten left out of three (There was Nic, Nac and Patty Whack) The first one died suddenly at the shelter. Vet did a necroscopy and found nothing but an enlarged spleen. Second one died a few days later.. so I rushed this last kitten to the vets on sunday. He's been there ever since.. They haven't been doing much tests since he isn't anyones cat, but the only thing they found was low RBC's. So I decided to take him home until Monday until another foster parent can take care of him. I have to give him 3 different meds and fluids everyday. He is such a sweetheart, he will NOT stop purring. He is staying in the bathroom.. and I'm trying hard to keep him and Izzy seperated since they aren't sure what he has but the vet said its unlikely that it would cross species. (But they love eachother  Nic likes to rub on Izzy) lol
(for those that read my post on izzy's reverse sneezing, it started before I brought the kitten home)
But anyways.. just wanted to share him with you all. Keep your fingers crossed that he makes it! He is acting fine and playing now.. hopefully it stays that way  |
