RIP, little aqua 1995 Toyota Corolla with over 150,000 miles on it.     He was driving home from work Friday night when their was a big bang and oil started spraying out from under the hood, along with smoke.  Hubby and son think it was the timing belt.  We are going to donate it to one of those charities that accepts cars working or not.

He went to CarMax yesterday and bought a little red Chevy Cobalt.  His first foray into debt at age 21.  Our son is an adult now.

Here is his new baby, which he has said no one will be allowed to bring food or drinks in.  He's even thinking of making any passengers take off their shoes and put them in plastic bags while riding in the car.

Bet he's excited to own his first "new" car. Yep, that first real "debt" is a real eye opener for young adults. Teaches them responsibility, though, which is a good thing.

My Mom drives a pretty blue Chevy Cobalt. Zippy little car. I love the putting shoes in plastic bags! I'm like that in my vehicles. Being anal retentive really bites.

When I went to work at Ikea yesterday, I looked for his car on the parking lot, as he works there too. He had parked it way far out on the lot away from the store and other cars.
