I was thinking today that this sunroom project seems to be moving slow ...
But then when I went back to look at the pictures... beginning with initial deck removal on May 22,2008 thru today, June 19, 2008.... it doesn't seem so slow!
Beadboard went up today inside -- I'm SO ready to move my new furniture in. Do you know how long it's been since I've had anything NEW???? You don't want to know! LOL I'm so excited...
(hope it's ok to share my excitement with you... and no... it's not dog related, although all four dogs did enjoy laying with hubby tonight on the new double chaise lounge which is covered in plastic down in the shop).. I think they are going to like it too! |

I have a feeling the deck around the hole will continue to be a deck around the hole for awhile....
Hubby seems dead set on not pulling up the lower deck (previously around a pool.. pool is now gone). He says he has an "idea" for it. I'm afraid to ask what his idea is...
My idea is to pull it up and mow the grass. I'm past the point of wanting anything that requires a lot of maintenance, ya know?
I'll just have to be content with the sunroom for now... and not allow anyone to enter throught the back of the house... (yeah.. right... EVERYone enters through the back of our house). :=( |
