Saturday was our annual Race for the Cure (Breast Cancer) event. It was even bigger this year than last year...they said that over 25,000 people participated and I'm sure next year will be even bigger than that...it just grows every year!

The 1st picture is of those that I work with, the 2nd picture is our entire team, and the 3rd picture is a shot of all the people walking in the street and there were just as many behind as in front of us!

Wow Morgan that is INCREDIBLE! Looking at that last pic gave me goose bumps. I'm sure it has been covered already but has breast cancer touched your life personally?

Not me personally...my mom said my grandma's sister had breast cancer (she passed and I never met her, or at least not that I remember) but thankfully it doesn't seem to run in the family because there haven't been anymore women in our family with it that I know of.

I just think it's a great cause and I love doing it and seeing all the people who participate...it's really touching.  Everyone is so nice and friendly and always in a good mood.  You see little girls walking with signs that say "I walk in celebration of my grandma".

I saw people from ages old enough to walk all the way up to people that were probably in their 80's or 90's and using a walker to walk the 5k!  Makes me smile just thinking about it.

Haha, you're not right Nora.

I have a good mommy who made me this way.
