The day sure goes slowly when you're waiting to be a grandma.  It's so hard to know when to be at the hospital and when is it just too soon. At 5:30 pm, we were told she was dilated to 4-5. At 6:45 as we were driving to the hospital (we couldn't stay away any longer) we were called and told she jumped to 9 1/2. We got there and my dil's mother was just kicked out of the birthing room. Not long after (ok, it felt like hours) we were introduced to Brianna Lynn.

4. This is how she liked her hands when she was all bundled up.
5 I love this too, dad and daughter fingers.
6. I can't leave out proud grandpa. It's his birthday today, he wished he shared his b-day with Bri. She just couldn't wait. |

Thank You everyone. It means so much to share these pictures and moments with you. All your kind words are out of this world wonderful.
Today Brianna looked less sore and puffy. She slept much of the day. I couldn't take my eyes off of her.
Now I can join the other grandma's and grandpa's here and understand what you mean when you say how fantastic this
feeling is. Nothing can compare. Thanks again. It means more then you'll ever know. |
