Just my boys... they serenade me like this almost daily!
I'm just a teensy spolied! LOL
Seriously though, I think music is important. I can't play but I sure appreciate musical ability in others. We have LOTS of musical instruments available to the kids and it sure is nice to see all of them learning. |

You know...funny you should say that. Dillon my almost seven yr. old is a real handful. You've got me thinking hmmmm.....maybe Dillon would benefit from learning a musical instrument.

I survived the guitar years too. One thing I can say about my son's guitar abilities, he's loud. |

| All the music is good for the math abilities! I pushed all my kids into music young! Now my almost 20 is in audio digital sound in college and a very good musician as well. Most of mine played at least one instument and more is always better according to this mom. I am willing to listen to a concert by any of my kids at any time. I listen to their pracise too and praise them highly. It takes tollerance to noise but is well worth the while. Only problem we have some musical dogs too, they want to sing during concerts and practise. LOL! |

| LOL funny story... when our daughter Angelica decided to persue the clarinet, the peacocks next door would chime in, fly over the fence and sit at our back door yelling back at her honking on the clarinet... only problem is peacocks yell what sounds like HELP ME when they get to making their noises! Needless to say it messed with Angelica's head and she no longer plays clarinet... LOL |
