| Yeah, the suspension thing I don't get but the hooks in her chest were for a "pull" where someone pulls against you. She's done the being suspended in air though, too. Actually, if you ever watch Miami Ink she was a commercial for a tattoo shop and she getting a "pull" from the back. It's somehow putting "mind over matter" like the Dakota warriors used to do in the Ghost Dance....if anyone remembers their Old West history. |

Those are all pretty awesome! I'm still amazed at tattoos really. Is that wierd?
I have three, but one is just for me. It's on my right hip and luckily didn't strech when I was was pregnant. It is two eighth notes that make a heart at the bottom and it is blue with a black border.
I have one on the top of my foot too; it is a TigerHawk (Univ of Iowa logo) and is pretty cool. I'll have to see if I can find the picture of it with Illyria standing next to it.
I have a third one, on my back of my name. Yeah, I was 18. Ha! I'll be getting that covered soon, with the triquetra symbol. |

| I have the triquetra on my ankle. It originated in celtic times, however it can symbolize the holy trinity (father, son, holy spirit) that, and the neverending circle represents his love. For me at least. |

Lower back... wasnt the colors i wanted but i still love it

Note: the one on my foot was drawn out right in front of me and then approved by me....
2 weeks after I got it... I realized it appears to say SEX!!!! wasnt to happy but i still like it.
Watch for hidden stuff when you get tattoos, I was told by a friend who does tattoos that some artists try to hide things that often wont be seen, unless looked for. Some even hide 666!!! |

 I definitely see the "S" and a little bit of an "X" but I don't really see an "E". That's crazy though. You are definitely putting alot of trust into someone when getting a tattoo.

| I have 3, but I can't take pics of them, and I'm too lazy right now to have John do it for me. The first one, a hummingbird, I got on my left hip when I was 32. The next one, a smiling sun, is on my right shoulder. I told John I wanted a sun on my shoulder because "sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy." He said I was corny. lol My third one is actually designed to be on the lower back, but I have it on the back of my right leg just below my calf muscle. I've had LOTS of compliments on it--I think because it isn't the "normal" tattoo for a leg and it's in a location that is kind of different. Of my 3, the last one hurt like hell when the tattoo artist was outlining in certain spots. I want another one, and I've told John numerous times that I want him to choose what I get and where--kind of something for his eyes only--but he always says he doesn't know what I want. Umm--the point of it is that I want it to be something HE likes. Of course, I would approve it ahead of time. He's probably have a huge Harley-Davidson something picked out. hahaha |

Here's mine. I would like to add to it, but I don't want more flowers. It's pretty low on my hip (I cropped the pic to edit it) and I'd like to have it arch up along the curve of my hips and waist. Plus I'd like to have something done with like a pawprint and Rowdy's name but I'm not exactly sure how I want it to look. I'm very picky because I want it to be unique and something I will love. The flower is a bit "boring" I think, but it reminds me of beauty, so I like that. It's like my personal beauty mark.
