Bless Mary Beth's heart!  She took the time to stop near my home so that Amos could meet Mitzy, Mayfly, and Loco (I hope I got the whippet's name right).  She had been on the road from Atlanta since 2:15pm and still had a long way to go before she got home.  Traffic in Atlanta is a killer.   I do my best to avoid it if possible and from what she said, today was especially awful.

She got to our designated meeting place around 6pm and we just chatted for a few minutes.  She is a really nice person, but I know that she was really tired.

Amos was his usual active self.  Mayfly was a precious lady, LuLu was quite friendly and Mitzy let me hold her!  Of course, Amos wanted to jump up on me and "greet" Mitzy and she really didn't appreciate that.  Her dogs are so friendly and little.  I'm envious.

LOL  Yes, Amos is most definately a Big Dog!  Other than the 2 german shepherds we've had in the past, he is the biggest dog I've ever had.  He was so excited when we got there that I was trying to let him run off some energy by letting him run in circles around me at the end of the leash.  Mary Beth laughed because she said it looked like when you run a horse around for exercise!   Not exactly what I was looking for when I wanted that little lap dog, but I'll be keeping him anyway!
