Well, the pics arent really even close to great...but there are so many cardinals out behind my condo all the time...these turned out ok soncidering how much i had to zoom in......not bad....they are so pretty in real life....bluejays come back there too! 

Love Cardinals - they're are state bird

I just now saw these! I love photos of birds, so thanks for posting them.  The cardinal is OUR state bird as well.  We usually have a bunch of them at the bird feeders, but I havent seen hardly any yet this year.  Just put some suet feeders and black oil sunflower seeds out, though, so they will be around soon!

Nice! The pics look good. I used to have Cardinals here too. Had to stop feeding the birds. I have cats now, just made a  cat buffet. Couldn't deal with that.

I love cardinals, too.  There are a lot of them in Central Texas.   This pic was taken after last year's freak ice storm in November.
