This is the garden at 5 weeks. The herbs taste wonderful and I use a little bit of them every day. Just walk over, pinch some off ... it's great. Right off the stem and into the pot!! One of them didn't germinate so the company is sending me another replacement herb. Customer service is terrific on this item. Truly does everything it is advertised to do. I LOVE IT!!!

I have Mint ... Parsley ... Italian Basil ... Purple Basil ... Chives ... Dill ... the Cilantro didn't germinate so I asked them to send me an Italian Basil instead. I really don't like Cilantro anyhow. The freshness is just unbeatable and they are so, so yummy. No more dried up herbs that I have to throw away. Smushed up mint leaves go wonderful in tea ... and it smells so nice!! Totally worth it!

I saw them in the Brookstone catalog I just got. Is yours a Brookstone? I'm really tempted because I use fresh parsley in recipes almost every day! Don't sweat the cilantro, Doreen. No big loss. That's a low-yield plant under any circumstances. One plant produces very little in a garden. Ya have to grow a lot of cilantro plants if you like it in all your Mexican and Indian dishes. It's just easier to buy that one. Nice they replaced so promptly, though. I wonder if when the plants are exhausted if you can just germinate regular herb seeds from the packets you buy at the store?
