Hello out there!  I'm brand new at this, so be patient while I muddle my way thru the process!

No pics just yet- just hoping my avatar can be seen for now.  If it can, this is my Chloe girl at 4 mo. last October.  She loved those fallen leaves!

My name is Terri.  I work at a large hospital as a billing specialist and enjoy making jewelry and gifts from vintage finds.  We love to recycle out here in beautiful Portland Oregon!  I lhave 2 amazingly awesome children, Nathan (16)  and Alexis (21) and one (so far) sweet little rattie girl, Chloe!  I hope to add another rat to the pack before the year ends - and hope to adopt/rescue from Ratbone if it works out and can find a good match for Chloe and I.   

A few years ago I decided I wanted/needed a dog in my life. So, I did some reseach and soon decided- before ever even meeting one- that I wanted a Rat Terrier.  After searching high and low, and finally meeting Chloe last fall, I knew in an instant she was meant to be mine.  We've been together 7 months now and I've not had one single regret about choosing her breed - or her! She's been a source of great joy in my life and wouldn't trade her anything!!

I'm owned by Harley is my rescued rattie from the dumpester , and Bernie aka poopie is my rescued from a drug bust bailed her out of doggie prison three years now and Harley got on my way back from KID Rock concert in Evansville, IN just 4 months ago................

I have a teenaged son which don't know when that happened (when i got big I mean), who is awesome and addition is currently testing my patients.............................

Hi! My name is Anitra & I am 28 days into my co-habitation with Sweeney Jack Ross, my new-to-me 5ish Teddy Roosevelt Terrier, in Indianapolis IN. His welcome home portrait 4/30/08.

I do Pet Portraits  but hadn't been able to keep a pet at my long-term apartment.

Sweeney was a rescue who was brought to my cousin's vet clinic in Western Kentucky after being tossed from a car. He had a really nice collar on, so we're thinking it was retaliatory *grrr* .

My mom had just called me a few weeks before to tell me about my new "sister" Chica a Toy Rat Terrier who thought she was a heirloom breed rooster...don't ask.

This made me think about getting a dog, being a new homeowner and having a yard and all. I was looking more along the lines of a greyhound, until my cousin gave the following advice:

BIG BIGBIG  BIG

They assured me that "Bruiser" was a great dog, whom all of the vet techs fell in love with. I conceeded to their grand opinion of him and said I'd give him a try. VERY much the "blind date" scenario, don't you think?

Mom brought him up to Evansville & we met in Spencer (she drove 2/3 of the way...come on, she drives a Prius!)and it was love at first sight. Maybe not at first nip, or first peeing indoors, or pooing, but we've grown very close.

My name is Meaghan Edwards, and I am 25 years old and seeking a job in the animal field. I live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

My interests include photography, drawing, reading, visiting the Toronto Zoo, and biking.

I am a brand new Rattie mom to two year old Rattie mix, Matilda, who was adopted from the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA, which I've been volunteering at for ten years. She is a second or so generation Hurricane Katrina survivor, and has been through heck and back but I truly believe it was her terrier character that helped pull her through it all. Devastated by the death of my beloved Scottish Terrier of ten years, I felt this connection to Matilda and knew that she was the dog for me.  Her sweet nature won everyone of my family over, including Suki the Shiba who is choosy when it comes to other dogs. Perhaps ironically, I'm also owned by pet rats!

Im brand new hear, my name is Hulda and I live in Iceland, I love dogs.
I own two wonderful ratties and one pug
The first one is Betty she is 3 a miniture rat terrier, the other one is Ambassador he is also a 3 years old miniture and the last one is Garpur and he is a 2 year old pug boy.
