I am not really new but I havent been on in awhile.
I am Rachel (26) married to Kenneth (27) and we have a 1 year old human baby named Christopher
We also have a 2 year old little rattie girl named BJ.
I am a stay at home mom and my husband is in the Air Force and we are currently stationed at Moody in Valdosta Ga. |

I am Shannon, mom to Mario. I have three children (2 boys and a girl) ages 4,9 and 11. I live in SC and am a stay home mom but somehow that doesn't even begin to describe my life!! I have written a book and am in the process of trying to get it published. My hubby is a general contractor and we own a remodeling business.

I am Carol, Mom to Tinkerbelle, my almost 8 month old Rattie(her B-day is tomorrow)
I also have 2 cats, Calli Jo and Lily Pooh
2 daughter, Isabella and Rachel
1 husband, Wade. We live in a northern Atlanta Suburb. I am a stay at home mom, retired insurance agent. I volunteer at my church a lot, enjoy gardening, reading and trying desperately to find quiet time!
My Tinkerbelle is my baby and she is also my mental health crutch. I was in need of some unconditional, no talking back, snuggling kind of love and she so gives it to me!
I just realized I have no pics of me and tink, so I'll try to get one today or tomorrow.

I'm Trina. I've been married to John for almost 14 1/2 WONDERFUL years. I have 2 gorgeous daughters (step) with whom I have a fantastic relationship (lucky me!!)
Bama is our only rattie, and he is the light of my life. And he is named Bama because of my love for the Crimson Tide! ROOOOLLLLLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I taught special education for 13 1/2 years and am finishing up my first year teaching general ed. English. Going back into the general ed. classroom has been the best career decision I've ever made.

Right now I sell insurance for State Farm, and I am transferring over to GMAC soon. I live in central illinois now, and I'm originally from the Chicago area. Skittles is 2 years old and spoiled rotten just like the rest of the ratties around here. We also have a cat (Tiger) and a brother-in-law with his dog living with us (temporarily has turned into well over a year at this point  )

Fairview Heights is about 20 minutes from my house. I have a friend that just moved out of O'Fallon (which is right next to fairview) Only bad thing about Fairview is the traffic around the mall at Christmas time!!! It's INSANE! And my brother in law went to dental school at SIUE - which is I'm guessing why you are coming down here?!..... And you're closer to Jules....

| I looked at the dog parks on the Missouri side - they seem to all be "members only". I e-mailed the parks director in Fairview heights to see if the parks there are "pet friendly" Worst case senario...the park in Dupo - where I live allow dogs on leashes. We will have to try to get something together this summer. |

I got an e-mail from the parks dept in Fairview Heights - they said all the parks but one are dog friendly. Said Pleasant Ridge is a nice park for dogs. Will have to write this down somewhere so I remember

| that is cool that your brother in law went to school there! i have been put on their waiting list twice, so i'm hoping the third time is my lucky time. It is very competitive now. yes, i would definately love to get together. Maybe towards the end of summer. I'll be starting my job on june first, so everything is moving very fast. I think i'm going to like it down there though. |

We got Jerry last July when he was 8 weeks old. We just rescued Darby from a shelter in the beginning of May. Jerry loves having a sister and Darby seems very happy to have found her forever home! |

As for the Bio,
I am happily married with 4 children, 2 ratties and other animals. I am very interested in alternative medicine and its' many modalities. I have sucessfully handled most emergencies the family has thrown at me.. holistcally, though "know better" if it is out of my league. I am a research fanatic (love that internet). Love sewing of all kinds. Have a passion for animals and always wanted to be a vet...(funny how life can be to short for everything). Though I am a fan of BARF(Bones and raw foods) I am not yet fully adhearent. I do combine most of the animal foods I give my pets myself.

What a great thread!
My name is Barb, I'm well over 21~!! I live with my "new" husband John, and assorted dogs and horses. I am library administrator at our wonderful local public library, a job I love and will keep forever, Lord willing. Our home with five acres is in a rural area near Louisburg, Kansas, which is about 40 miles south of the Kansas City metro area. The dogs who rule my life are Rita, 4-mo-old RT and Texanne, 13 yo sheltie/aussie/??? mix. The horses who take up most of my free time are Lock, Key, and Pick. Key is John's APHA gelding, 9YO. Lock is my 3YO APHA gelding, green broke. Pick is the newest herd member, a homely but fantastic 7YO bay AQHA gelding that anyone can ride. Oh, this was supposed to be short and sweet! Okay, pix:
1. Wedding - John on Key and me on Solider, who is now retired.
