Hello! My name is Stacia.  I just joined this site today.  I am very excited and I am looking forward to all the fun this site seems to offer.  Anderson my two year old Rat terrier mix is the reason I found this website. He watched a couple of the videos on here and was excited to see other dogs that look like him!  He is our only child and he is very spoiled.  Im 27, I currently work at Dental office as a receptionist.  My boyfriend Joshua,  is going to school to become a PTA and is in his last year.  Im looking forward to getting to know the community of parents that love their rat terriers. Im going to attach some pictures of Anderson and also my roommates puppy Abby.  She is a beaglier.  Which we are told is a king charles beagle mix.  Hope to talk to you soon! -Stacia

Thanks for the welcomes! Anderson and Ivy do look alot alike.  Im sure he likes that alot.  We dont see very many dogs that look similar to him. 

Everyone always thinks he is a Jack Russell.  Is Ivy full Rat terrier?

Im taking Anderson to a new vet in two weeks and Im going to ask him what he thinks.  Anderson has to get two shots, Im sure he will not be pleased with me!  Right now he thinks Im the best because today we went to Petsmart and pet co. Trying to find him new pjs that fit.  Cant find P.J's anywhere! Hope everyone had a good day today.  Im so glad tomorrow is Friday.

Hi! We're the Robins family. We have two rat terriers, Reese and Riley, and we love them both to death. Riley is six years old and Reese is 19 weeks old. Both are female and we call them "the girls."

The first picture is RIley. She's the calm dog. She's content to just sit on your lap with your hand on her. She also spends most of her time under the couch.

The second picture is Reese. Reese is the younger, much more energetic dog. She just wants to lick your face off and jump on everyone, including Riley. Reese is always going to be smaller than Riley, but to her that just means more time to ride on Riley's back.

I've been on this site for a few months now, but I'm finally getting around to posting this! I got my baby Lucie on March 20th and she was born Jan 17th, 2008. My boyfriend, Steve, and I spoil her like crazy (but he's worse than I am!). She's a little ball of energy but is also very loving and sweet. She LOVES to go outside, so hopefully someday we'll have a house with a yard where she can run around.

I'm 25 and live in North Carolina (originally from Minnesota). I enjoy playing golf, reading, movies, being in the outdoors, and spending time with my family in MN.

I have 4 children  ages 23 through 14 years old and a one year old grandson and last but not least one spoiled rotten Rat-Terrier who is 2 years old named Zoe Grace.  I am married to a Wonderful man! ( we have been together for 10 years) My husband has an Accounting Firm and is a Professional Trombonist.  I go to his gigs and support him and run errands for my hubby. My Hobbies include spending time with my grandson Gage,  playing with Zoe, walking, cooking and playing on the computer, meeting new friends, going swimming. Hello everyone.  My name is Sue.  My husband and I live in NJ with our daughters and our baby Holly who is 10 months old.  We were told Holly is a JRT and RT.  Will someone please confirm this.  I am so confused, because my vet could not confirm that for us.  Thank you for your help

Thank you Michelle and Ivy, for your reply.  Ivy we got Holly from my daughters boyfriend Jon.  Jon's aunt had her and she has 3 young boys, who were really rough with her.   Daughter asked me if we could have her and I fell in love at first site.

And said yes.  Boy I didnt know what I was getting into.  She had me on my feet 24-7.  For a little runt  she was surely a terror.  She is very smart!!!  She is always walking on her hind legs, looks like a meer-cat.  Prances when she walks.

But when we go outside man oh man, she literally pulls me down the street.  For a little dog she is strong!!  Very good watch dog!!
