Paid another visit to Ricky and Christy; Christy the bull mastiff is 8 months old; she got out of the backyard and was hit by a car last week; a fractured pelvis . The vet said she had a fractured pelvis, and it was either $5,000 surgery to correct it with no guarantees, or to keep her off her feet for a couple of weeks and let it heal naturally. My co-workers dad made this really neat wheelie contraption, so they can wheel her outside twice a day to take care of business. This pic was taken 3 days after the accident, and she is perking up already; when i came in the house, I called out her name, and you could hear this huge THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! sound, the huge tail wacking the carpet. also, a picture of Ricky and a black cat that hangs out in the rear of a funeral home we were surveying in the area

Poor Christie, I hope she heals quickly. She's a beauty, I love brindle coloring. That black cat looks like my Bailey.

Peggy- It isn't our cat; its a neighborhood cat that hangs out in back of a funeral home we had to take pictures of for work. The owner of the home told us the cats owner moved like 20 miles away or so, but the cat came back to hang around the neighborhood; the owner came and got it to take it back to its new home, but it went right back to its old neighborhood, and the owner said "I'm not comin' to get him again!" It has a real racket going here, several neighboring houses leave food out for it; the life of Riley!!
