It worked!  The pin on his shirt and hat are because he has his Cadet first class.  Now for a sad bit of news (not about school however).  I was informed that Jordan has an ingrown nail and has to have minor surgery on it this coming Tuesday.  He has had the procedure to the other toe in the past but I am sad because I am not allowed to be there for it.  Guess I will just have to go and send him sill get well cards.  But get to see him in 9 more days!!!!!

He sure looks like he's happy!  Too bad about the toe surgery coming up.  He'll be ok, though. And like you said....only 9 more days!

We did drop a boy off (who was a bit spoiled) and in the pictures and on the phone, I see and hear a very mature sounding young man.  It brings tears to my eyes when I look at him.  The first weeks pictures were tears of sadness, loneliness and missing him but now the tears are of joy in all of his accomplishments and achievements which are getting so long  We sent him there to finish high school but he has learned so much more then just his schooling and grades.  I also feel that all of us:  Jordan, Mike and myself have grown.  I cant wait to see him and tell him this in person.  ONLY  8  MORE DAYS!!!!!!  A few more pictures, also.

Great pictures Michelle. He looks so good and you can tell how proud he is. It won't be long now until you get to visit with him. Hope all goes well with his toe surgery.

I hope all goes well Michelle. Thanks so much for sharing these. You can really tell a change in him from the beginning. Those ingrown toenails hurt! It will be a relief for him to have that fixed, although likely sore at first. Can't wait to see pictures of you with your arms wrapped around him FINALLY! I know you can't wait!
