Here are a few pics of my baby!  And one of my baby with my other baby!  She still doesn't have a name and I've had her for almost two weeks!  I really need to think of something for her soon!!  She loves baby pacifiers and I'm not too sure why.  She doesn't chew on them just holds them in her mouth.  Anyway if anyone has ideas for names shoot them my way!!

I just noticed the little swirl marking on the top of her head and thought that it looked similar to Amos head marking.  This photo is the best one that I have that shows how the marking swirls up. (He looks bad here, this was the day he came home from the hospital after battling Parvo)

Your girl is a beautiful dog.  When I first saw her the name "Mabel" came to mind.  I don't know why, it just came to me.

I don't know if these names fit your baby, but I wanted to name my Daisey either Macy or Coconut. Since she is techniclaly hubby's dog (don't tell her that), he chose the name.

Wow.. thanks for all the input!  I have thought of a few names.  What is funny is my mom suggested Mabel also!  She said she is black and white like a cow so name her Mabel or Bessie lol.  I have also thought of Roxi or Minnie.  My hubby is a K-9 deputy and his partner is Mickey so I thought Minnie would be cute... but she doesn't really look like a Minnie.  I like Macy.  My daughter was going to be Macy but ended up Becca.  I promised hubby I would have her named by the end of the night.  Its driving him crazy that she isn't named!  Precious is cute too, but my aunt has a puppy named Precious and don't want them to get confused...lol.  Don't know if there is any truth to it or not but my mom says you should always name a puppy a name with at least 2 syllables because if it is only one they associate that with the word "no".  I appreciate all the help and let me know if you think of anything else!

Well, have you decided to call her "Mabel" yet?   LOL  She really does look like a Mabel and you could call her "Mabelline" for fun.

does anyone remember the sitcom with Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser (sp)? They took a while to name their child and it was her mom who gave her a sentence to remember.

I'm probably not much help for a girl...since I have a son and a boy dog....my son named Dink after a man in a movie (My dog Skip)   Has your kids given you any input?

Thanks for all the great ideas!!  I didn't name her by the time I told my husband I would.  But I finally did get her named!!  I LOVED a lot of the suggestions that you all made, but in the end hubby liked Minnie.  His K-9 for work is Mickey so he thought that was cute.  I didn't really think she looked much like a MInnie, but it will grow on her I hope.  Sorry it took so long for me to post anything on it, but my computer was down for a few days.  Thanks again for all the help and I look forward to chatting with you all!!
