Carol,
they are Type A ratties correct? What size will they be at adulthood (your best guess as we know you can't know for sure). The reason I ask is that in the pics at teh bery beginning they look almost as big as Aka but then if the only weigh 2-3 pounds now, they are much more smaller than Aka who is a whopping 11 pounds!! LOL
I am loving seeing all the puppy pics. True bliss would be your 7 plus Reni/Remi's 3 plus all the others that I can't remember the name sof right now!! Huge pile-o-pups!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Like everyone else I would love a new baby but I know that until I get my two better socialized and trained AND me better trained, it would not be fair to my two. I can't imagine wrangling 3 ratties right now!!
Have fun with them! they are precious. I hope those that are trying for a puppy will have it work out for them. How cool to see more sibs grow up on the site.
I was going through baby pics of Aka, Coco, Remi, Emma, Grace(sp) and then at the adult pics we have of them. AMAZING the changes. Except for Grace(sp) which is with Sara's mom, we have been so blessed to see the sibs grow up!!

Yes, they are type A. They should be mini's, but not toys like Aka. Tinkerbelle is normally about 13 lbs and 12.5 inches tall. Daddy was about the same, but a hair shorter than Tink. How much did Aka weigh when you got him as a pup?

He's the one who wanted to see a full view of Lightening and he was smiling when he looked at him. I don't know -- he's not saying yes and he's not saying no -- which is good, he's not saying no. He may be coming around????? Let's hope! WooHoo - wouldn't that be great! |

Hi Carol,
Aka weighed just under 2 pounds when I brought him home. I look at him now and think he hasn't really grown and then I look at old photos and todays photos! what a difference. At 11 pounds, Aka is technically overweight, by a pound or so. We are working on cutting back on empty calorie treats and uping our exercise. (Momma needs to lose a whole lot more than a pound or two!! LOL)

Those pups are adorable!!! I want a puppy too, but now is just not the right time. My labbie is 12, and although she 'deals' with Savanna, I doubt she would handle a puppy very well. Sooo, when the time is right, I'll get one then.  |

Aka is a doll too. He's just about Savannas size. She needs to lose a pound or so too........... I had her down to 9.5 pounds, but she's back up a little, I'll find out when she goes to the vet on Thursday. |

Well, i told Randy he could name him -- he's always said he's like to name a black male Eight Ball -- so here's what I told him today -- we could name him James Eight Ball and call his JEB as in J.E.B. Stuart -- in keeping with our "southern tradition" Y'all, he's really thinking on this!

Oh, I like Rhett Butler and Katie Scarlett and Dixie or I know they love Alabama...so maybe Bama or Bear or Bry....Jeb, I'll have to get used to. He's still my little Lightning right now. When he was born, he had a lightning streak down the back of his neck. It has faded some now that more black hair has grown in, but it is still a faint lightning streak. So, that is why I have always called him Lightning and he is so precious!

| Well, Bama is out because we had a dog named that -- a Dobie. I like Bear -- and Randy might like that, as an Alabama name. I am going to let Randy name him - and I came up with JEB because he always talks about a black dog named Eight Ball. Of course, he still hasn't said yes, so. . . . it may all be for naught! |

Carol...which one is the close up with the pink nose? ADORABLE!!!
That's Ace. They are so funny to watch their noses turn black. I kind of like the pink and black spots!
Oh, they are SO freakin' cute!! Bella had a speckled nose like that and I loved it. It lasted a long time and I was hoping it would stay that way, but it eventually turned all black. There is still a little pink inside of her nostril that you can see, haha. |

Are you serious? I am trying not to get my hopes up....trying.....trying really hard....oh it's no use. My hopes are up! He's so sweet. I love him to pieces and I know you will too! I can't imagine a better home for a dog to live in....or a person for that matter!!!
