Jasper the collie 10yrs old has never liked toys of any kind in till Ivy brought the little red dog over!!!  She can not really understand how it got so slimy and decided he could just have it and she would chew on him instead!

Thanks they are great dogs, the collie does live with my folks after my dads dog past Jasper kept running away to grandpas house (just across the street and down 2 houses)  Guess he knew grandpa need him there.  Course being retired he is home more than me and Jasper just never liked going to work with me.

It is just too funny watching this old guy become a puppy with her.  We thought he was on his way out of this world and now it is like it has taken him back to 8 years ago when he was a young dog.  He has hip problem and arthritis but couldn't tell most of the time he just gets tired faster.

I love the second pic. Isn't amazing how by just bringing in a pup can change the older dogs? My mom's dog never played with toys (other than the tennis balls that he horded) until we brought in another dog who came with his own baby (stuffed toy)...then that old guy took every opportunity to steal the baby from the younger guy and tease him with it.

Thanks, it has been amazing to see him in his second puppyhood I hope it will add years to his life!!!   Jasper just loves "his" toy and the nice thing about him is it is not in pieces like with these ratties!  He just walks around with it in his mouth so proud!  So funny.
