The rest is history - I fell in love with her as I transported her to her fosterhome in Connecticut. I bought my house so I could adopt her. I had her for a wonderful 5 years and 3 months (not always an easy 5 years and 3 months tho.......LOL) she was pulled in July, and she came home to me forever Thanksgiving Day 2002........
I miss that old girl every day of my life. She was a special old broad. At 19 years old, she still had spunk and fire and a mean old nasty RATitude!! Gotta admire and respect that for a dog that age!! I still wonder if there was anything I could have done to prevent her from dying.......

I recently found her shelter paperwork. At the top of the page of her intake papers, CAUTION is written in bold letters.......LOL She was found at 4:13 am running around the parking lot of an Albany, NY Police Station.........
When I first saw her, she was vicious!! Mean and nasty. I was told to pull her, so I did... the shelter people used a rabies stick - and literally stuffed her into a crate. The old girl was fighting for her life the entire time, growling, biting, |
