I have FINALLY got the nasty carpet in my living room up and OUTA there. My BIL has been tied up rebuilding his own house after the tornado, so I've had to wait and wait...... I am NOT a good waiter, even if I totally understand that his own house was priority. He got all the flooring laid in the living room. The walls have also been painted but the trim work has not been done yet. Amos spent most of the day shut up in my room because he couldn't mind his own business and kept getting in the way. Finally, when he was almost done, Amos came out to INSPECT the work. I think he approves of the flooring. He certainly enjoys laying spread out on it!

He looks like Sam on a hot day in the last picture. Except Sam prefers carpet. 
Glad Amos approves of the new floor!!  But what does he think about the paint? |

| I love your new floor, it looks really nice. Bailey always has to be right in the middle of everything too. Is that your hubby in the chair? My memory is gone and I cannot think of his name...anyway looks like he's supervising too!! |

| Yep, that's Ricky. Don't worry about forgetting the name. I've been married to him for almost 28 years and I forget it sometimes myself. lol Yes, he was quite the supervisor, once they got enough flooring down that he could get back in his big ol chair. What's so bad about getting the new floors, is that it sure makes the OLD furniture look bad. We also had to relocate 3 parrot cages. My bird room is packed tight right now, I don't know if we are gonna bring them back in there or not. I'm not much of a decorator, but we shall see how it turns out. |

| Ricky, how did I forget that, Bailey liked hiding behind him at the jamboree. As far as the furniture, maybe you can go get new stuff, I got new kitchen curtains today and now I need new throw rugs and a new clock, I went from blue to green and tan so my rugs and clock don't match. |

| Oh, I think I'm gonna have to have new counter tops before I get new furniture, but maybe I can get both. lol Slow down, there Kimmy. Get the floors down, THEN move on to the next job. |

Your flooring looks great! We are still getting everything put back together. Aka is a real supervisor too!
When I get everything back together I will put up photos of our flooring.

So you went with Pergo? VERY NICE! I know you are thrilled to get this done.
Yup... when you go improving one thing... it makes other things look worse! LOL So... it's never-ending.. haha

| This is a wood laminate, but I wasn't able to afford Pergo. It may not hold up as long as Pergo, but we will see. ANYTHING was better than 13 year old carpet that has been through 3 different dogs and 8 parrots. I really am liking it, but I'm gonna have to get used to the "tick,tick, ticky click" of the dogs paws on the Laminate. Carpet did muffle the sound better, but I will get used to it! |
