Well, I gave him his Kong Wubba about 20 minutes ago and he made quick work of it!
In the first picture, you can see the histiocytoma on his ear pretty good. |

| Yep, I posted photos of him playing with it yesterday. I took it away so that he wouldn't kill it IMMEDIATELY. He has gone up and down the hall way, "killing" the cover by slinging it against both sides of the wall. He's having a grand ol' time with that Wubba carcas. |

I think I would give them kong people a call, and let them know that their product is not rattie proof!

| Yep, nothing is Rattie proof unless the Rattie wants it to be! The stuff that CAN'T be shredded/destroyed hold no appeal for Amos. He's got 2 nylabones and they are barely touched. I can not imagine what he would do, IF he ever got hold of a live bunny or rat. It would be quite a mess I'm sure. I plan to email the Kong people some photos. Just to let them know that the "Wubba" is deceased. LOL Maybe they will give me some coupons for other Kong toys. That squirrel looking one looks interesting but DANG at about $10 a piece, I can't afford it to tear up in less than 15 minutes. |

Amen to that! I think Bailey's two most favorite past-times are: 1) Chewing up her Bully Stick and 2) Killing her toys. Let me rephrase that.... her three most favorite things are: 1) Bully Stick, 2) killing toys and 3) tormenting her little TFT sister, Lucy!  |

I was gonna get a wubba today...now me thinks I might hold off I found these hard rubber balls that have squeekers in them, so they get the satisfaction of "the kill", and so far they have lasted a week, which is huge!!! For a small one it was only $2.50, and the brand is "bad-cuz". the only down side is the ball actually has "feet" on it, so I could see Amos eating the "feet" in no time I will say I would LOVE to find a toy that is "rattie proof" So far for us, though, our two LOVE their bad-cuz's and chew/play w/them constantly!!!

Sydney and Sonic got a Moose toy for Christmas from Lynne, Rattiegurl, Daisy and sorry I forgot the other pups name. Anyway they have not yet destroyed it |

| I did indeed send photos of Amos with the Wubba and explained that it didn't last very long with him. I also offered him as a "toy tester" for any prototype Kongs that they wanted to test for indestructability. LOL Wonder if they will take me up on it. |

that is seriously an awesome idea! they get to test stuff, and Amos can play and tear up as many toys as he wants and it doesnt cost you any money lol and you know what will last with him and get those fior him. genius!

I actually got a response from the Kong people! They offered to replace the toy one time if I would send them the "carcas" or they would send coupons for further purchases. They did explain that the Kong Wubba was not intended as a chew toy, but as a fetching toy like Mitch uses it for.(and puts away) I told them that I realized that but that Amos had such a good time "killing" the Wubba and playing with the "carcas" that I felt it had served it's purpose well. LOL I did tell them that I wouldn't mind having coupons for any of the other Kong toys and that the next purchase would definately be for one of their more durable Kongs. We shall see if I get any coupons or not.
But I BET those photos won't end up on the web site! |

HA HA! Cash's is STILL alive!!!! and we got 3 sets of SHARK TEETH! to TERRORIZE! it WITH! we even got our PIX on the KONG web site!!! but alas....its not long for this world...Shamus has decided its not ANY fun! or Cash is Hide'n it somewhere(he is sneeky)...its hanging in there!!! we even play'd fetch tonight w/it! its SCRUFFY looking but STILL in 1 piece!!! next week....probably NOT! expensive too!!!! I agree ! we need to do some EXPERMENTING for KONG!!!!And let the winners be on the web-site! |

| Poor Wubba. I finally had to bury one of the two Wubbas my girls have about 6 months ago. It lasted a LONG time, though. Zipper started chewing the canvas intently and managed to get the balll out, too. But the other Wubba is hanging in there! The second one I put away and just take it out once in awhile. It's about to have a birthday, 'cause we got them when Zipper was about a year old and she just turned two. |
