Oh, Sadie was a beautiful girl.
Can we post non--Ratties? Here's a picture of our Bonnie girl, who passed away Sept 18, 2006. People on this site helped me through this difficult time.

| Thanks! Of course non-ratties are allowed. The idea came to me when I was reading about MB's cat. Anything. Just thought it would be nice to have a special place for those loved one's we've lost. There's special threads for tri's and blues and such, here's a really special one. |

My sweet Beeji, this was taken after a full day at doggie day care. He loved going there. He had so many friends.

That is a beautiful picture of Sadie.
I have Jules to thank for this lovely picture. I sent her a couple of pictures of Sadie after she passed and she photoshopped them for me. I don't have those kinds of talents. Thanks Morgan.

1) Our beloved Katie went thru so much we got her in 1990 because a man wanted her killed for needing a c-section. My dad refused and she was our kitty. Katie, Spring 1988-Fall 2004
2) Katie and Emmy together right after we got Emmy from the humane society. Hehe they blended in together.
3) Emmy, we got her when i was 7. We got her from the humane society, she was my moms kitty. She was so flightly and weird and ate her own hair as a hobbie but we loved her dearly for her weirdness lol Spring 1991-May 2005

[Will always remember you as the best dog ever]
A Place In Our Hearts
They will not go quietly,
the dogs we've shared our lives.
In Subtle ways they let us know
their spirit still survives.
Old habits still make us think
we hear a barking at the door.
Or step back when we drop
a tasty morsel on the floor.
Our feet still go around the place
the food dish used to be,
And,sometimes,coming home at night,
we miss them terribly.
And although time may bring new friends
and a new food dish to fill,
That one place in our hearts
belongs to them....
and always will. |

What a wonderful post. I actually started welling up, made me think of the dozens of amimals I have lost. Being in the country we had at least a dozen at one time. I wish I could say I have photos of them all. That is why I am glad to say Angel is the most spoiled dog I have ever had and is going to stay that way! Love your babies! |

I don' t know whether to be sad or happy. I look at all the animals that were here and loved and that are now gone. I have never had a dog die...so i know when Casey goes eventually it will be like loosing a kid for me. But then i think of all the happy doggies that mean so much to the lives of their owners and all the happieness they bring...and that makes me smile |
