This is Daisy and Licorice. Daisy is my 6 month old Rat terrier, and Licorice is my 9 yr. old Lahsa-Apso/ Poodle mix. My two girls love to go outside in the pool and the eat pop-sicles, jump in the pool to fetch tennis balls, and Daisy and Licorice play " tag" in the house..... Those two are just LOADS of fun!

| Both very cute doggies. If I might ask... what made you decide to get a rattie pup? (and welcome to the forum!). I'm simply curious... it's such a different breed from Licorice. |

| I chose to get a rat terrier....... Well, here is the story: I research differant dog breeds I have no clue why, ( finding average weight, height, lifespan, diet, etc. etc) And the Rat terrier just seemed to be the energy-filled, cute, loving, sporty type of dog I wanted.......... When I went to a Rat Terrier breeder, Daisy was the one that was just like the breed bio said.... She just came up to me, like she was saying " Hi ! Do you Want to be my friend?" And she looked at me, and then cuddled up with her brother and sister..... Kind of like she knew that this was the last time she would ever see her brother and sister....... I plan to train for agility, her being the smart, bundle of joy she is......... I will post more pictures of her a little bit later... I will put a picture of her now that her ears are standing up more. |
