There are a lot of websites with information on rat terriers' coloring/patterns. Here are a few:

1. http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/grinavere/index.html (has pictures with the descriptions)
2. http://www.nrta.com/newratstandards3.html (lots of information - little complex)
3. http://www.imageevent.com/shawspaws/ratterriercolors (lots of info - has pictures)
4. http://www.1st-writer.com/ColorGenetics/lesson1.htm (very complex - genetics and photos)

Here are some pics of ratties that look similar to your pup, though I can't see her very well on just an avatar picture. It also seems that "sable" is not a color in and of itself, but rather is a pattern.
