I had to shoot these two videos separately since I was laughing so hard. I know I probably should have been sterner but he was just so darn cute and proud of what he had done. When I first found him busily destuffing, he had a piece of the white fiber stuck on his chin and looked like a kid playing the role of some statesman from the 1700s.
He certainly had fun taking butterfly apart and sadly, there is no real way to fix him. Even if I could darn the hole, it still wouldn't hold up to anothe chewing. Plus I'm not sure if the carcass would survive too much long given its current state.
Oh well, a ratty's gotta do what a ratty's gotta do!!!
