I KNOW!! I tried to talk him into the cute little matchbox car bookbag, but he HAD to have that one, because it was camoflauge!! I have always let the boys pick their own stuff within a budget, so I let him get it. He looks so cute walking down the hallway of the school with that great big bag!

I know, Austin moved up to the 9/10 kid pitch league in baseball this week. It was really a reality check for us. We remember thinking that it would be so cool when Austin got in that league....it seems like it was just last season we were thinking it, but it was really about 4 yrs ago!! They are growing up a little more everyday...sometimes it makes me wanna cry!!

MAN! I could put everything I own in that back pack--it's so big!
I sympathize with ya, Brandy, on the "Name Game" his teacher is playing. When our son PJ was small, he was in a class that the teacher insisted on calling him Paul. We told her "We prefer that you call him PJ--that's what he's always been called" She still insisted on calling him Paul. This only caused confusion and ill feelings between school and home. She was hard for all the kid's parents to get along with---she's no longer a teacher, in fact. |
