I am so behind on reading posts!!! Okay, so I took Nick to see an Allergy & Asthma specialist today. They took blood to test positive or negative for allergies. If it tests positive, we have to go back for a skin test which will tell us more specifically what is causing him trouble. He's on three different medications now and most likely will need an inhaler for emergencies. He has damage in his ear from his long history of ear infections so we need to keep an eye on his hearing. This doctor feels like it is most likely the pollen that has been so bad here. But we have to wait and see...prayerfully Mario isn't an issue. We are testing for animal dander. Nick is hyper from this medicine and hasn't stopped talking!! He was up until midnight last night and up at 6:00am this morning!! He's not slowing down either!! I am so grateful that the scary part of this is over. I've had several emails and phone calls from my rattie family and I am SO incredibly touched. Thank you, I am truly touched. Nick is fine...he does still have a little wheezing going on but the medication should prevent another bad attack. Whew! This is stressful stuff!! I'm ready for some fun!!!

I'm glad he's still doing well, even if he's a little hyper I hope the tests come back with something conclusive that can be dealt with (anything but Mario).

Well, at least this is a start. And I am very glad to hear he is doing better!! He has to slow down eventually right? : ) Take care of the little man andd keep us posted!

Thankfully he is feeling good. How long will it take to get the results back? I've thought of ya'll all day. And have prayed that Nick is ok and that it's not Mario. I HATE that Nick has this. I laughed when you said you and your husband could hear him singing, though! LOL!!!
