Can someone explain to me.... why sometimes when I move my mouse over a subject (don't click on it... just move my locator over it)  listed in a forum it briefly shows the content... and sometimes it doesn't?

Am I doing something wrong?

I get the little preview on ALL of them ... but .... you have to have the mouse exactly right for it to appear and you can't be impatient ... sometimes it takes a few secs to come up.

Just the slightest movement of your mouse will make it go away. Try taking your hand off the mouse once the box appears. Also, it goes away after a set amount of time.

No.... it does that to me too. It is just a computer function. If you go to another topic and hoover over that topic it will show the contents and if you go back it will show those again. Only briefly does it show. if you want to see the whole contents you have to click on it. Smart computers we have, huh

Hey, Nora. As far as I could tell the little pop-up box shows when I hover the mouse over any of the topics in any of the forums...so - I don't know!! Maybe you're just not holding it still enough or something???

I notice I don't get the previews if I am under active topics.

Yes... I know it works only if you are logged in. But sometimes here at work it works fine and sometimes it doesn't. And same thing at home.
Just weird....

That is true for me too. If I'm in "active topics" or "not read" or "my forums" it won't pop up. It works if I'm in only one forum at a time.

Nora....

What Shannon said, haha.

The "preview box" doesn't work if you are on any of the pages that combine the different forums ('Unanswered', 'Not Read', 'My Forums', & 'Active Topics').

You only get the "preview" feature when you are actually on one of the main forums...'Just Chat', 'Training', ect.

It still doesn't work.... even when I'm in one of the main forums. Must be a computer glitch.

And now your friendly retired teacher will give a lesson: Those previews you all keep referring to are called "Tool Tips" in computer lingo. Use the right term & impress people.
