Yeah, Shadow is very warm too. The vet says that the normal temp for a dog is 102 degrees. The thing is that Shadow loves to touch me in his sleep and he will scoot over till he can feel me and sometime I am on the edge of my bed trying to stay cool at night. I've just learned to leave him be and turn the air conditioner down ot 69 degrees and I'm the one freezing but he is snug and comfy. He even sleeps better and longer at night too.

LOL at Shadow. Theese dogs do know how to get comfy huh? Shiloh sleeps under the covers too and isn't happy unless she has at least a foot touching me. I freeze though, so really appreciate her extra warmth.

If you want the best seat in the house ... move the dog!

My ratties put out a lot of heat too. Molly especially...she has to lay pressed up against me, even on warm nights. Very difficult to try to get cool enough to sleep.

Oh yeah! Mitzy sleeps pressed up against me and it's great in winter...in summer we have to put the A/C way down at night. I'll tell yeah though if you ever need a hot water bottle or heating pad - just place the rattie there!
